I’m Tammy and Blue Lily Event Planning is my little company where I’m fortunate to be able to share my love for creating pretty and inspiring things with all of you.

A little about me….

​

I believe in family and finding joy in the simple things. There are so many tiny but wonderful moments in life and finding beauty in the unexpected is a must. I am a bubble bath and greeting card addict. I believe the recipe to a great party is made up of 3 simple things: good friends, good food and good atmosphere. I find a cup of tea and a good friend can cure most anything. I don’t believe in saving things for a special occasion. I use my good china every day and I wear perfume to do my laundry.

I grew up in the Cowichan Valley and have lived on beautiful Vancouver Island all my life. I’m an avid camper and enjoy giving back to my community. I’ve been a leader with Girl Guides of Canada for over 15 years and love every moment with my girls and our crazy adventures.

My story includes a well-rounded background in the field of organizational and administrative services, working for a variety of small local businesses, as well as larger national and international financial and technological corporations.  With this combination of experience, as well as several courses in marketing and event planning; I have merged my knowledge, passion and style to create Blue Lily Event Planning.
